SACCSoCal takes a stance. We are a force for good. Our high-level networking has soul. We contribute in building bridges, healing lives, and having impact beyond business, and so can you, too.
We achieve what no single firm can do alone: Fund life-saving cancer research for kids and build vital infrastructure for families in need. To solve some of the world's most pressing challenges takes impact leadership and action, globally and locally. While some have their own CSR programs, we provide a platform to our partners and members to pool resources.
INITIATIVES
Building Bridges with Helvetas
We build bridges between Swiss and American markets, and we are now building physical ones. In partnership with Helvetas, our community is committed to fully funding a pedestrian bridge in Tanzania, providing a rural community with safe, year-round access to schools, markets, and healthcare.
This is a tangible, "bricks-and-mortar" legacy. We are currently documenting the "Before" story on-site for our Gala 2026, with a grand "After" reveal scheduled for our Annual Gala 2027. By pooling our resources to reach our $50,000 goal in the next two years, we prove that the Swiss-American business community doesn't just observe—we connect and empower, globally and locally.
Healing Children’s Cancer with Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation
Leveraging Switzerland’s global leadership in life sciences and healthcare, we are partnering with PCRF to support children’s health. We are dedicated to funding the innovative research required to treat and cure pediatric cancers.
This initiative offers our members—from biotech founders to local SMEs—a way to align their professional purpose with a profound human one. We provide a platform to high-caliber leaders to network with purpose and drive the next breakthrough in pediatric healing.
The Swiss San Diego Golf Classic 2026 - Presented by HomeLab
Our first-ever philanthropy tournament brings the Swiss-American business community to one of San Diego's most iconic courses the day after BIO International Convention closes. All net proceeds go directly to PCRF and Rady Children's Health. Every foursome is a room where the right relationships happen. And after 18 holes: a networking luncheon, awards ceremony, and charity raffle featuring prizes from Switzerland and California.
Foursomes, individual spots, and event sponsorships are all available.
Whether you play a round, sponsor the event, or simply donate — every dollar raised goes to the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation and Rady Children's Health.
The difference is simple: players pay to participate and give. Sponsors pay for brand visibility and get golfer spots included as part of their package. Donors give without attending. Three ways in. One destination.
